Windies, opting to bowl first under overcast skies, lost Shai Hope and Kieran Powell inside the first two overs. Both Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah put the swinging new ball to good use, clogging runs and picking a wicket apiece.

Ravindra Jadeja was introduced as early as the 10th over and picked two in his marathon 8-over spell, before adding two more to finish with four wickets in the match.

Windies picked an early wicket in the small 105-run chase. Shikhar Dhawan chopped onto his stumps, falling to Oshane Thomas for the second time in the series.

Chasing 105, the most India had to contend with was Oshane Thomas's pace. The 21-year-old bowler didn't just get Dhawan, but also drew outside edges from Virat Kohli (dropped by Jason Holder) and Rohit Sharma (off a no-ball).

Rohit Sharma teed off, racking up his 38th ODI half-century to canter India home in only 14.5 overs.
