PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Narsima Chilkuri: Test cricket at its absolute best - poised on a knife’s edge. Bumrah with the ball, Jadeja with the rough, England with belief, and rain with mischief. 90 overs, 350 runs, 10 wickets - all four results alive. Can’t script it better.
Satwik: I see it differently. At this stage, India should focus on playing sensibly. Depending on how the score shapes up, we can shift to an aggressive approach in the third session. Pushing too hard now could risk a collapse, which would hand the momentum to England.
Dhrumil: India should look to accelerate the pace and have a good score on board by the end of the second session. Rishab Pant should unleash
Nikhil: Just lob the ball to Lord Thakur - the man turns half-chances into full-blown miracles like he's got a cheat code from the cricket gods!
Koteswararao: Krishna needs to get a tad fuller to make the batter a little uncomfortable, with his natural length the batters are comfortable playing on the back foot
Keshav: I think the score line will be 3-1 in favor of England, pertaining inexperience batting lineup of India. As seen in the case of SENA countries, bowlers will take 20 wickets but batting should come to shore in order to win the series.
Sunit Sihag: India will win the first match at Headingley, scoreline at the end of this series will be 3-1 in favor of India. And if that happens, Gill will establish himself as new generation star and silence all his critics.
Satya Prakash sethi: English batters have struggled against quality spin, subcontinent-style pitches or dry tracks that offer turn. India having two world-class spinners who are not only capable of maintaining control but also consistently taking wickets in the middle overs. It will be interesting to see the match.
Swastik: I think India will win this series because their pace attack looks better than that of England.
