Lucknow Super Giants vs Delhi Capitals, 40th Match, Indian Premier League 2025 - CommentaryLSG vs DC, 40th Match, Indian Premier League 2025 - Commentary
Maestro Manohar: LSG's knack of picking and forming a bowling unit comprising of uncapped Indian bowlers is something we got to appreciate, they have been doing it ever since their debut in this league, Mayank, Mohsin and now unearthed another gem in the form of Digvesh.
Hari: Markram emerged out to be of value addition to LSG, guess what , he is performing well too with bowling which is a bonus to LSG team.
Sarthak: Would really love to see one of DC or PBKS win the trophy this time around. DC, in particular has been a really strong side since the last 4-5 years.
Raunaq Pandey: I hope Karun Nair gets on that tour of England with the kind of form he is in.
Pradeep Reddy: I have a feeling that one of the former champions from bottom half of the table will sneak in to the final four! And to be honest they have the resources to do so!
Suraj: On the current away form, RCB seem favourites to go all the way.
Surya Reddy: Is the pitch playing slowly, or are the DC bowlers bowling good lengths?? The ball does not seem to be coming on to the bat like the first 10 overs -- The slower balls are gripping and dimensions are also playing its part.
Udit Gor: A seasoned IPL Champion like MI in the playoffs would be a nice cat among the pigeons for teams like DC, RCB and PBKS.
Ankit: This is just so disappointing to see from Pant . He needs to have this confidence to face 30-40 balls for the team and capitalise on it. Just convienient excuse of lefty-righty combo. -- Just to clarify, Pant's right wrist is taped and he might be nursing a minor injury?
Ayushman Choudhary: Miller and Pant could have easily steered the rest of the innings and they could have bought in Mayank Yadav. Rishabh Pant coming at 7 makes little to no sense. -- Pant has his right hand taped and we believe that slight niggle could be reason behind promoting/bringing-in Badoni ahead of him.
Varaprasad Vejju: Again No Mayank Yadav! Less than 6 overs left , No Pant yet. Exciting strategies by LSG.
cricketlover: This time its not easy to predict the top 4 even in the latter stages. So many teams are tied with the same points and some major heartbreaks are very much possible
Bashas Basheer: I feel GT is head and shoulders above the rest. The way their top 3 are consistently setting the platform for the middle order, Siraj bowling well in PP, Kishore very effective in the middle and Prasidh taking wickets everywhere. They have all the bases covered.
Ujjwal: I agree with the predictions, but how often have we seen teams faltering at the end too. Have a feeling one of the current top 5 will have a forgetful latter part of the season.
Mustafa Moudi: Cant rule KKR out. KKR is a great team with deep batting and more bowling options. Just that they are struggling to handle them properly. But the way they made a comeback in 2021, cant rule out another comeback this time too!!
Paras: Feel for Miller here. Never gets the chance of lifting a trophy for RSA. And not even getting a chance to bat in this IPL despite being one of the best in this format. Just do not understand this strategy of sending Samad ahead. Miller deserves better.
Aryan: I am looking forward to see GT vs MI because both teams have got amazing bowlers as well as batters.
Ketan: I really liked your prediction of top 4 but somehow, I feel list is incomplete without MI being there. They are crawling back with very less attention, and we know how slow starters they are.
Ronit: Even MI cannot be ignored. They start slow but once they start winning, its hard to stop them. -- Definitely. MI have a reputation of peaking in the second half of the season.
Zakeer: Still SRH will be the one to win this year. -- Not impossible, but it would take an incredible team effort to turn things around from the position they are in right now.
Dinesh Chopra: Still, the magician lefty kuldeep is yet to come
SwaroopGaikwad: How smartly Axar completed his quota of overs, before the destructive lefty (Pooran) arrives. -- Indeed, conceding 29 (3 of them powerplay overs) off 4 is a top effort.
Ayush Monga: According to you, what will be your Top 4 teams to qualify for playoffs ? -- Well as of now GT look almost certain, and the winner of today's contest is highly likely to make it to the playoffs. Also, RCB and PBKS look strong contenders as well.
Amit L: I must say these two IPL teams have overseas superstars who are champion players. This is a great attraction for me in this match.
Utsav Amitendu Agarwal: Interesting choice of Impact subs for both the teams today. Very situational use-case scenario unlike the erstwhile fixation with who the 12th player would be.
