Kolkata Knight Riders
25/2(3.4)
Shivam: KKR's combination just isn't clicking right now. If you play Rahane then Narine can't open who is most impactful as an opener. Another big question is selection of Ramandeep Singh. Right now, he doesn't clearly fit in any role. He clearly is not a finisher and can't give you reliable 1-2 overs.
Siddharth: Finn Allen and Tim Seifert should be opening for KKR to make proper use of the powerplay and they are both in excellent form. Jinx can come in one down and take on the spinners
Nadeem: Despite going in with one of the highest purses, CSK and KKR are still struggling with team balance. Lesson from the Indian Premier League: big money can't fix poor combinations - get it right in the mega auction, mini auction is just patchwork.
Prosenjit Sengupta: The whole problem starts with the captaincy and selection. I am not seeing Green as a performer and rather drop him and bring Rachin Ravindra who will give 2-3 solid overs. Moreover using Narine on top and in slog overs could be an option. I will also pick Tejaswi Dahiya instead Ramandeep.
Pratik Sanjiv: KKR has always been successful when Sunil Narine has opened the innings for them. I would bring him on the top along with Finn Allen. That would be deadly combo!!
Kumar: Usually, when rain is expected, everyone prefers to bowl first. I wonder why Rahane decided to bat first.
Powerplay dual
There is a bit of swing for Arshdeep. Expect Punjab Kings to pick at least one wicket in the powerplay, but also for Kolkata Knight Riders to score 60+. View Complete Forecast...
