SAS: This is what happens when you don't play many overseas matches. Performing in subcontinent is like playing in the nets. India should consider this as a learning curve and play a lot more overseas matches.

Akash: The Test match finished in 170.3 overs which is less than the number of overs required to be bowled in 2 days. Rain or no rain, India need to up their game. No hopes lost yet but definitely expectations have vanished.

Rohit Ramanathan: @Vishal: That's if they can last that long. Pujara should play like Pujara and the rest should play like they know how to! It's not that Indian batsmen don't have any skills. It's a mental block that they are facing and just need to be patient.

Vishal: Pujara needs to come out of his defense shelf, if he wants to be regular in this team. He consumes too many deliveries without adding many runs. If he gets out to a beautiful ball after playing 60 balls, he would have scored 10-20 whereas Dhawan or Rahul would have scored 30-40 runs by then.

Venki: As Sanjay Manjrekar said in the last match that he has seen this situation in 1994 where Sachin was the only batsman playing in the team and after that Ganguly, Dravid, Sehwag, Laxman emerged and India became a formidable Test team. I hope Vijay, Dhawan, Pujara and Rahane will make it too.

Gonne: India should focus more on their all-rounders - Jadeja, Ashwin, Pandya. When they are picked together replacing a batsman, they know that they have got to take responsibility and play big. India should take such chances.

Ravi: Since the conditions at Lord's are more overcast than expected, the thinking of spin twins may not be very effective. Hence, Pandya shall be retained & Shardul Thakur may be tried in place of Umesh Yadav who was under par at Birmingham -- Don't think Thakur will get a game but a fair point about the conditions.

Abhilash: Once a batting powerhouse India,now suits the line 'One man or no man'. Coming out of this shell can change many equations.

Varun Shammi: Considering the label of an 'all rounder', I think Sir Jadeja will make it to the XI. He is going to play a vital role in all three departments and especially in the 2nd innings. Pacers are in good form and all we need to look at is on the batting aspect barring Virat Kohli.

Vignesh Sridharan: Ishant and Shami will be favorites in the 1st innings, while Ashwin and Kuldeep (if picked) will be handy in the 2nd innings. Better to pick Kuldeep in place of Umesh than Pandya. In the first Test, other than Kohli he was the one who countered swinging ball well.

Viswa: @Dilip Misser - I think Pandya Should play, he was atleast in some decent touch with the bat and the second highest run scrorer for India in last match. Umesh or Shami could be replaced by Jadeja.

Gowdru: Pujara should play this match and with him Vijay and Rahane should show some resistance and bat long to win the match. Our bowlers are more consistent than our batsmen in recent times. Even in SA it was our batsmen who did not perform.

Konsham Ashu: India should go with the same 11. It's about confidence to the players who have not performed. Long series so one more match to live up tot he reputation, especially Rahane and Vijay. Dhawan likely to lose his place if he fails to deliver in this Test.

Dilip Misser: If India need to win the contribution has to be from Pujara, Kohli, Rahane & DK.. Bowlers are in good pace and well controlled.. I feel Pandya will be out and Jadeja will come in.
