PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Harsha Bhogle: Whenever there is trouble, eyes move towards Bumrah. And he always delivers. This time the pupil lead the way and the master (Malinga) held his nerve

Srujan Belde: Matches like this make IPL special. Last over = experience vs talent!!
Prabodha: @vasu @Manohar Forget work and Lunch, its evening 7.15PM at Germany and I am still in the office PC. :D
Manohar: Forget about work @vasu. It's lunchtime in USA and I'm not moving an inch.
Vasu: Having a hard time focusing at work. My head is buried into my phone. One over is all it takes to change the course of the match
Shubham: Shimron Hetmyer struggles against leggies. Rohit should introduce Markande next over
Sivaguru: Finally Bumrah won the contest between him and Kohli. Now the contest is open for Bumrah vs ABD.
Harsha Bhogle: Bumrah vs Kohli. Have to love the #IPL

Nazeem: I often see Rohit not utilizing his bowlers well especially when it comes to second innings. I hope today he plays smart in getting Virat / ABD out and handle the rest of the batsmen well.
Soham: RCB certainly needs to up the ante. Ones and twos is not gonna help and it will only make things harder at the end.
Hadi: Even if RCB are 110/1 at 10 overs, as soon as Kohli goes, MI will start to believe. That is what is so discomforting about this line up. They could use someone solid in the middle order, someone like a Joe Root or a Kane. I hope this doesn't go beyond ABD for now
himanshu: Looks like RCB is at full throttle to keep it going. Both teams fighting hard to get the first win for the season
vijay: It is not Virat vs Bumrah..It is a lesson for youngsters to learn from two of the best in a same place...
Harsha Bhogle: Hardik Pandya's late blitzkrieg has given MI a chance. But on this track, 187 is just par. Pandya batting too low though

Mustafa Moudi: Finally Virat realized that his best position is at No.3. In the Era of T20, any Batsman can open but only gifted player like him can play at No.3 and handle the pressure after the fall of the first wicket!!
Newtein Einston: Well this is Chinnaswamy and have to say Mumbai have post a par total. Considering the RCB batting and the dew, they should hunt it down. Though MI do possess a strong bowling today, I expect it's going to be a cracker.
Mustafa Moudi: Time for MI to get over Pollard. The last time I remember him performing was when he scored a match winning 70 Runs after MI was struggling at 7/4. Coincidentally, that match too was against RCB in Bangalore, back in 2017 !!
Harsha Bhogle: Got to love Chahal's courage in throwing the ball up. He's got so many wickets with the one tossed up wide.

Bibhu Prasad Raiguru: Yuvraj's innings has put pressure on RCB. They might have looked for 180, now they want more after that mini onslaught.
Ritesh Patnaik: Short but Yuvraj has proven he is not a liablity in that middle order to be written off. Vintage Yuvi is back and he has set the base for Pollard and the Pandya brothers.
Harsha Bhogle: Interesting comment from Robin Singh that the team that hits more sixes will win.

Hemang: @Shahryaar Mirza I think MI have little too many options to play down the order and opening is what Rohit will not move this time around. It seems that for Surya, this is the best position or at the max they can swap it with Yuvi.
Pritam D: Still surprised to see no Ishan Kishan in the MI squad... the lad did pretty well in the SMA trophy recently
Shahryaar Mirza: No. 3 is just not the position for Suryakumar Yadav. Either let him open the innings, which I doubt he would in future since Rohit has found back his form, or play him down the order, where he used to play for KKR. Let Yuvi play at No. 3!
Anirudh: "Remember, Rohit Sharma was the difference between the two sides in Wankhede when these two teams met last year. Seems like it's going to be a repeat of it."
Ashutosh Kaul: "Let's see how Rohit plays Chahal tonight!!"
Lavan Kumar: I request everyone to fasten their seat belts and watch the Hitman show tonight....
Harsha Bhogle: The MI team today is so much more balanced than in game 1. Six bowlers, batsmen till no 7...

SP: "What RCB needs to focus more is wins against the big teams like CSK, MI, and KKR. If they can manage 3-4 wins out of the 6 matches, their way to playoffs will become rather easier. I'm still perplexed why guys like Southee and Sundar are not playing. They give more batting options with good bowling."
Shrey: "Let's see who will win the contest between Kohli & Bumrah."
