Sukil: Test Match getting completed in 4th day, Warner would rue the fact that he could have got to 400 very easily
Rahul Garidi: "@Siddhartha don't forget that batting line-up dominated cricketing world in late 90s and early 2000. In that batting line-up, Adam Gilchrist used to play at no.7."
Siddhartha: "Pakistan struggled similarly in 99/00, 04/05 and so on even with a bowling line-up with the likes of Wasim, Shoaib and Saqlain etc...totally unfair to blame this team."
Lakshya: "This tour has shown that Pakistan's batting have improved, on the other hand their bowling have started to go down."
Faisal: "In the past Pakistan have 3 or 4 Test match series in Australia, but they have been whitewashed in all.. so a longer series may bring more shame."
Austin: "One more wicket is equivalent to handing over the trophy to Australia and Man of the Match and series to Warner." -- Seriously? You really need to wait for another wicket to do that?!
Nasir Hussain: "You can not expect much from this from a new and young team. Pakistan have almost no experience fast bowling attack accept Abbas."
Apurw gaurav: "The moment I want to write something good for the Pakistan team they blow that up."
Sid: "@ansari - 4-5 Test match series only makes financial sense against strong opponents, otherwise its a money loser for the hosts. If Pak get better than their current 7th rank in Tests, I'm sure they will get a longer series. Until then they are not in a position to ask."
Ahmed: "Pakistan have to play positive cricket and the top order have to give good starts to compete in Australia and the bowling department is inexperienced. Cannot rely on one bowler only."
Faisal Saud: "Story of the whole series for Pakistan - in every inning only one batsman performs and others fail."
Ansari: "To be honest, this is why a 4 Test or 5 Test series is necessary including some more tour matches. Sometimes teams like this take time to get settled in difficult conditions. A 2-match series means home team will wrap up series in no time."
Jalaj: "If Pakistan make the Aussies bat again, it's sort of a win for them!!!"
Gaurav Singh: "Why Pat Cummins is not that effective with the pink ball?" -- Perhaps because he's predominantly a seam bowler and this pink ball seam is quite soft
Muhammad Faizan: "Australia were looking for a mistake and Shan Masood did exactly that. Now Australia will do damage with this fire pace."
Manav: "Something is wrong in this comment section. As soon as someone posts a comment, a wicket falls!" -- Well, we are certified cursed beings
Salman Khawar: "Pakistan has to do a lot of homework before facing some class teams. It's more than disappointing to see this type of cricket from them."
Shafi: "Here only one wicket matters for Australia and Pakistan will collapse again. They are waiting for that one mistake."
Rasvi Han: A meek top-order collapse and a tailender fightback is becoming common in Test cricket nowadays, like Kemar Roach, Philander, Keshav Maharaj, Pat Cummins, Jack Leach and now Yasir Shah. This is what makes Test Cricket so interesting.
Khaliq shah: I love how Yasir shah is schooling Pakistan's top and middle order both, Test cricket at its best
Manan Dayalani: Yasir Shah is already the second highest run getter for Pakistan this series after Babar Azam. This tells you the story of Pakistan this series.
Harsha Bhogle: Babar Azam might have missed a century but unlike a few others in recent times, Pakistan have the real deal. You never can tell the future but yes, he will become a special player.
Harsha Bhogle: Babar Azam might have missed a century but unlike a few others in recent times, Pakistan have the real deal. You never can tell the future but yes, he will become a special player.
Shivam Pandey: "Are we witnessing the making of Babar "The Test Batsman"? He is surely replicating Virat of 2014. Scoring runs with such grit and confidence."
Khaliq Shah: An hour gone today and it's been very good from Pakistan. They are still miles behind, but showing some fight
Vipul Tyagi: @Shivam, if beating India in India is the real concern, this is my team:
Karunaratne, Elgar, Williamson, Smith, Babar Azam, Stokes, Mushfiqur Rahim, Lyon, Cummins, Yasir, Starc. What do you make of it? -- Gun team
hasan raza habi: Pakistan need about 7 more Babar Azam's in their side, then they'll be golden. The man is pure class and a pleasure to watch!
shivam pandey: Shouldn't ICC organize a series of 2/3 Tests between the no.1 Test side (India) and the ROW consisting (according to batting order) Rory Burns,David Warner, Marnus Labuschagne, Steven Smith(c), Babar Azam, Ben Stokes, BJ Watling(wk), Mitchel Santner, Pat Cummins, Stuart Broad, Mitchel Starc. Interesting, you guys? -- sounds like a good idea. Which venue would you suggest?
Ayush Bhardi: "STARC AT HIS ABSOLUTE BEST ! Drop whatever you are doing and enjoy the show.."
Juned Shaikh: "CricBuzz Commentators are in Awe of every boundary of Babar Azam...........Is he really that good ?" -- Yes, he is
Saurabh: I don't want to jinx it but I have a feeling this could be the innings where Babar Azam comes of age in Test cricket.
Keshav: "Watching Starc bowling at 150 Ks is thrilling."
SJ: Unless Warner throws it away here, a triple hundred is for the taking. Pak bowling is totally dispirited here.
Nihil Parmar: Warner might be getting more runs and accolades but Labuschagne is a beauty to watch. Monk like batting. He is not a 'Steven Smith' replacement anymore, he is the only 'Marnus Labuschagne'.
Sourav Ganguly: This is what I really like about Australian Test teams, no matter the opposition or conditions their rate of scoring is always brisk.
Many years ago when the mighty Australian side visited India, they scored 476 runs in the first day, that's more than 5 runs an over.
Punter was the chief architect!
Teja: "I am wondering if any IPL team will show interest in Labuschagne. I want to seem him playing in IPL soon." -- Hey auction is still 20 days away.
Stony: "Muhammad Musa is good in generating some serious pace but he is missing the consistency in hitting the right areas."
Aliya Akram: "This is getting cruel for Steve Smith's fans as they desperately want him to bat and score against Yasir Shah."
Ahmed: "Marnus Labuschagne came in as a substitute of Steve Smith in the Lord's Test and now it seems like he is another Steve Smith in making. What a story indeed."
Joshua: Labuschagne is like a right-handed Michael Hussey, astute defence, assured leaves, well-timed punches and plays so straight.
Husain: I think with the emergence of Labuschagne, Smith will get lesser chances of playing a long innings and scoring big.
Austin: Labuschagne is reminding the world how a Test match should be played. Even his leaves are pre-meditated and classy. He may not be a Dravid, but he sure is a Labuschagne in Testa. World Class star in preparation. Hope he will not get spoiled like others
Pervaiz Parray: Pakistan have a balanced side today. Aussies have compact batting line up. It will be interesting to see how Steve Smith approaches today. It is going to be a great contest between Smith and Yasir Shah. Pakistan need to improve their Test record in Australia.
Keshore: One of the things to admire about Labuschagne is his temperament. For him a good leave or a solid defense is as good as a cover drive for a boundary. Majority of the balls he's faced here have been dots. But those things just doesn't seem to faze him. Vital quality to be a successful Test batsman.
Rethda Rehmatullah: Far from India Choma Zambia, watching (actually reading) match on @cricbuzz and it's the only time when I feel at home and reading commentary just seems like watching live thanks to you guys..
Vijay: "Naseem Shah should have got another opportunity."
Souvik Barui: "Afridi seems to have a perfect release and the conditions are tailor-made for him today."
Subham Kundu: "Fast bowling is more about control than speed and Abbas is the master of control. I can beat that he is going to be the best bowler for Pakistan in this match."
Ansari: "I don't understand that workload thing for Naseem. He bowled just 20 overs spread over two days. And a week of rest as Pakistan didn't get to bowl second. We need him to bowl as much as he can in Australia. Get the experience and get better"
