PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Arjun: I think CSK have to change their mindset a little here. We have seen them fight for NRR when the target is beyond their reach but when the target is small, they don't try to it finish off soon.
Aditya: With such an intense fight for the playoffs I expected Chennai to go all out with the kind of start they got. They have surely missed a trick here by promoting Rayudu over Dube given his form and how well he plays spin.
Soumyadeep: The way Dhoni builds teams is so enviable. Time and again he has rebuilt this CSK team and has converted it into a winning combination.
Jayant Singh: The way Chawla has reinvented himself is commendable. He was present in the Star Sports studio last season but today he is making a strong presence of middle on the field. Chawla is Rohit Sharma's most trusted bowler today, no doubt about it.
Shubham: I see no logic in batting second on such sluggish pitches in a day game. It's only gonna get slower as the innings progresses without the possibility of dew, is it not? 'There was a possibility of rain and batting second thus made sense'
Mahesh: A score of 140 would be good score on this pitch but MI need to accelerate on from now onwards
Ompuri O: MI would be badly missing Tilak Varma today.
Baji: Rohit performance is a concern for Mumbai Indians and also for national team when we are nearing the world cup and world test final.
Gautam: Brevis would have been a ideal replacement for Tilak. Interesting to see a power hitter selected ahead of him.
