Dilshan Madushanka to Usman Khan, out Naseem Shah Run Out!! 2 runs completed. Usman carved this low full toss to deep cover. Fielder in the deep overran and fumbled. So they decided to take extra runs. Usman thought he could keep strike with two but Naseem charged for the third despite his partner saying no. Both were at one end when the throw reached the bowler and he effected the runout but Usman had just grounded his bat inside the crease before Naseem did. Naseem Shah run out (Kamindu Mendis/Dilshan Madushanka) 1(1)

Dilshan Madushanka to Shaheen Afridi, out Lbw!! That's plumb in front. Shaheen has reviewed but he's walked off because he knows he's gone. No bat, ball-tracker says smashing base of middle and leg. From 176/1 they have slipped to 207/7. Brilliant yorker from Dilshan Madushanka. Actually just missed the mark but Shaheen moved across and missed it completely. Shaheen Afridi lbw b Dilshan Madushanka 4(2) [4s-1]

Dilshan Madushanka to Shaheen Afridi, FOUR, it's a high full toss that dipped just enough to finish under the waist. Shaheen slogged hard, got an under edge. Fielder at short fine leg dived to the right and got a hand on it but the ball still had so much momentum to get the boundary

Dilshan Madushanka to Sahibzada Farhan, out Caught by Janith Liyanage!! This is straight to extra-cover and the centurion is gone. Pakistan are not finishing well. Kamil Mishara pats Farhan on the back as he walks off. Wide full delivery, could have been put away. Farhan did middle the drive but shame he found the fielder to perfection. Great innings from Sahibzada Farhan. Sahibzada Farhan c Janith Liyanage b Dilshan Madushanka 100(60) [4s-9 6s-5]

Dasun Shanaka to Salman Agha, out Caught by Maheesh Theekshana!! This high. Oh Theekshana has taken a tough catch. "He's been very naughty in this tournament," said Angelo Mathews on air earlier this game. His poor catching is well recorded but he did so well to run back from cover and take a difficult catch. Low full toss, Agha slogged and sliced it high Pakistan losing momentum here. Salman Agha c Maheesh Theekshana b Dasun Shanaka 0(2)

Dasun Shanaka to Sahibzada Farhan, 1 run, two T20I hundreds for this man and both have come in this World Cup. This is his 6th T20 hundred since 2025 and what a gem Pakistan have found at the top. He jumps and pumps his fist as he celebrates the hundred with a loud roar. Clearly the best batter of the tournament. Shanaka tried to take pace off and bowl into the wicket wide of off stump, Farhan managed to slap it to long-off and he's absolutely elated. Has been a treat to watch in the modern era. Has smashed Bumrah and other top bowlers. Has gears against spin as well and he's given Pakistan a great platform today

Dushmantha Chameera to Shadab Khan, out Shadab Khan Run Out!! 1 run completed. Looks like lapse in concentration from Shadab? Or was it just that they ran on the misfield? It was a low full toss, Shadab flicked behind square. Went straight to deep backward square leg. Madushanka almost fumbled that because it spun away from him but he dived to stop the ball. Looks like a reactive call for the second run but the throw was flat to the keeper and it was an easy runout. Shadab Khan run out (Dilshan Madushanka/Kamil Mishara) 7(5) [4s-1]

4

Dilshan Madushanka to Sahibzada Farhan, FOUR, this is quality placement. Full and around the off stump, Farhan moved across and just played the flick. Man at long-on, man at deep mid-wicket but he split them both to perfection with power and placement. Pakistan break that slow phase

W
Dilshan Madushanka to Khawaja Nafay, out Caught by Charith Asalanka!! This is going to the fielder. Will he take it? Yes he does. Make that 3 singles, 1 wicket in the last 4 balls for Pakistan. They got to be careful here to not lose steam. Dilshan Madushanka wanted the wide yorker, offered a slot ball that could have been put away. Khawaja Nafay tried but the 78m boundary didn't help his case and Asalanka swallowed that without having to move an inch at long-on. Came off the bottom of the bat so the timing wasn't there. Khawaja Nafay c Charith Asalanka b Dilshan Madushanka 2(3)

Dushmantha Chameera to Fakhar Zaman, out Bowled!! Finally, after 94 balls, Sri Lanka manage to break the opening stand but luck did play a role here. Chameera stuck to the wide yorker for the left-hander as well. Turned out to be a dipping low full toss that Fakhar moved across to play behind square. But he ended up smashing it onto his own stumps off the inside edge. Sahibzada Farhan gives a pat on the back to Fakhar as he walks off after a sensational innings. Fakhar is one of the best batters in this format for Pakistan and sometimes it's outrageous to see how they handle him. He's proved it on the big day again when his side needed to win big. Fakhar Zaman b Dushmantha Chameera 84(42) [4s-9 6s-4]

6
Dushmantha Chameera to Sahibzada Farhan, SIX, this is high, fielder takes it but steps on the rope before he could release the ball. Brilliant lofted cover drive from Farhan. He was ready to get under it and smash over extra-cover because he read the bowler's mind with the plan to bowl the wide yorker. Liyanage ran to the left from long-off. Was too close to the rope when he took the catch and couldn't control the run
15
Dasun Shanaka to Sahibzada Farhan, 1 run, that's straight to the long-off fielder and straight out of his hands. Wellalage immediately calls for attention as he has hurt his finger. What seemed to be a regulation catch was suddenly a mess because Wellalage got into an awkward position sideways when he just had to stay put or move a yard forward to collect it down his throat. Looks like he lost it in the background or the lights. Nothing going Sri Lanka's way. Farhan flat-batted this short of length delivery and escaped

4
Dasun Shanaka to Fakhar Zaman, FOUR, uppish and just over short fine leg! For a moment Shanaka thought he could have his man but the ball just evaded the back-tracking fielder. Slower delivery, Fakhar swings and manages to clear the infield
