They always had to go for the second run, it was a no-brainer with this being the final over and Raza going berserk at one end. This is pulled into the gap at deep mid-wicket and with a bit more urgency, the second run was definitely on. Zaman however is sheepish as he gets casual in the running and Nawaz's throw to the bowler's end is accurate for Umaid to do the rest. Even with a dive, Zaman is well short. Lahore end on 148!! Odean Smith to Rashid Khan, out Caught by Iftikhar Ahmed!! Gladiators finally break the partnership! They needed this because runs were coming at a freakish rate in the last few overs. Slower ball from Smith does the trick, Rashid is a tad early on the loft and he gets a lot more height than distance on the shot. The hang time on the ball allows Iftikhar to get across from long-on to his left. Completes a fairly regulation running catch. Odean Smith to Raza, 1 run, dropped by Guptill! Would have been a sensational catch had he held onto this and he actually did the hard part in timing the dive properly but just couldn't hold onto it. Rare sight to see Guptill putting catches down. A rare miscue from Raza today, wanted to go over extra cover and sliced this over point. Gets lucky in the end

Naseem Shah to Raza, FOUR, no stopping Raza! He is batting with unreal confidence and swagger. Picks the slower ball, delays the bat swing and goes straight back over the bowler's head. Clean loft and this nearly went all the way

Naseem Shah to Raza, FOUR, smart batting! Slower bouncer, Raza was shaping for the pull and then realised that it's the pace-off delivery, waits a fraction before executing the shot. Picks the gap between fine leg and deep square leg with precision

Naseem Shah to Rashid Khan, 1 run, back of a length outside off, a touch wide and Rashid steers it away through backward point with total control to bring up a priceless fifty partnership. The ball is coming onto the bat really nicely now. Lahore will regret their batting performance in the first 10 overs.

Naveen-ul-Haq to Raza, FOUR, Raza is on fire! This is an even better shot! Naveen-ul-Haq goes fuller once more, width offered and it's met with a thunderous drive through the covers. Hit on the rise and Raza holds the pose after the shot to add flavour to it. The Lahore crowd has found its voice in the last few overs, they realise that their team is staging a fightback of some sorts

Back of a length, width offered and Rashid slices it uppishly behind square on the off-side. Just about clears the fence

Sarfaraz knew the truth too but he was just being kind to his bowler. Lovely delivery this, nips away just a shade from around off, Rashid was looking for the booming cover drive and it just whizzed past the outside edge. Nawaz to Wiese, out Caught&Bowled!! The Qalandars are in a free-fall at the moment and there's no one arresting this massive slide. Was nicely tossed up on off and straightened a tad on the right-hander - Wiese jabbed forward on the check drive once again, went with hard hands and ended up lobbing a simple return catch to the bowler. Hafeez to Shaheen Afridi, out Shaheen Afridi Run Out!! Has Shaheen run himself OUT? Went straight to short third man and he set-off for a quick single, the run was never there and was rightly sent back by his partner, put in the big dive, but it's in vain. He's short and he's OUT. Was the attempted reverse sweep and Shaheen wasn't in a great position on the shot, got to the fielder on the bounce and then the Qalandars captain decided there was a run there, simple lob from Naveen-ul-Haq and Sarfaraz does the rest. The Qalanadars have lost half their side now - Shafique has been bowled around his legs, was full and sliding down leg, Shafique shuffled right across on the sweep, exposed his leg-stump and was through with the shot, the ball caught the bottom of the glove and rolled back onto the stumps. Nawaz to Shaheen Afridi, FOUR, cracking shot, Shaheen is starting to look comfortable now - flighted delivery on off and he went down low on the sweep, placed it behind square on the on-side and beat the diving fielder's effort for a boundary

Naveen-ul-Haq to Talat, out Bowled!! That's a cracking delivery and the Qalandars have lost their fourth. The angle working in Naveen-ul-Haq's favour - came from round the wicket and got it to slant back into the left-hander with the angle, Talat was pushing forward, but the ball straightens enough to burst past the outside edge and crash into the top of off-stump. Naveen-ul-Haq to Shafique, FOUR, nicely played, on a good length and at the stumps, Shafique presses forward and then thumps it over mid-on for a boundary

Umaid Asif to Talat, FOUR, nicely played, short of a good length and angling across the left-hander, Talat rides the bounce and then pinches it behind point, third man is square and has no chance

Naveen-ul-Haq to Billings, out Caught by Will Smeed!! Catching practice at deep backward square leg, the swivel pull causing another batter's downfall today, banged in short and Billings instinctively went for the pull, doesn't bother to keep it down and holes out to Smeed in the deep. Umaid Asif to Mirza Baig, out Caught&Bowled!! The Qalandars have lost both openers now, that extra bounce causing Baig's downfall, didn't help himself by staying on the front-foot on the pull - was the slower short ball and Baig miscued it badly, off the top-edge and lobbed right back at the bowler, who called for the catch and held on with ease. Odean Smith to Shafique, SIX, cracking shot, tad too short from Smith, Shafique swivels across, uses the pace on the pull and helps it on its way with the pull, sent it soaring over deep square leg for a maximum

Naseem Shah to Fakhar Zaman, out Fakhar Zaman Run Out!! A direct hit at the bowler's end and the third umpire will have a look. Was Fakhar's call and he was running to the danger end, the fielder makes a direct hit at the bowler's end and finds Fakhar well short - OUT is the call. That's a big blow for the Qalandars, on a good length and just outside off, a punchy drive in front of the fielder and Fakhar thought there was a run on offer, but Asif is quick on the ball and his direct hit caught the batter well short.
