Umaid Asif to Raza, out Zaman Khan Run Out!! 1 run completed. Poor from Zaman Khan! They always had to go for the second run, it was a no-brainer with this being the final over and Raza going berserk at one end. This is pulled into the gap at deep mid-wicket and with a bit more urgency, the second run was definitely on. Zaman however is sheepish as he gets casual in the running and Nawaz's throw to the bowler's end is accurate for Umaid to do the rest. Even with a dive, Zaman is well short. Lahore end on 148!! If only Raza had gotten a few more deliveries, he could have gotten them past 150 and who knows, even 160. Zaman Khan run out (Nawaz/Umaid Asif) 0(6)

6
Umaid Asif to Raza, SIX, glorious shot! Asif misses his length and feeds the slot, right where Raza wants it and he tonks this into the sightscreen with a dead straight loft. Flat hit
18.5
4
Naveen-ul-Haq to Raza, FOUR, drilled away! After a brief lull, Raza has found his mojo back. This is a slot ball, width offered and with mid-off up, this is very poor from Naveen-ul-Haq. Launched over extra cover with disdain
18.4
4
Naveen-ul-Haq to Raza, FOUR, shot! Slower and short from Naveen-ul-Haq but Raza waits forever on the back foot, and then flat-bats it wide of mid-off. The field was up now and Umaid can't chase it down
18.2
Naveen-ul-Haq to Raza, 2 runs, proper miscue, lands safe! Slower ball, Raza completely mishits the loft and it goes miles into the night sky before falling well in front of the charging long-off fielder. Umaid the man and he then has a bizarre super-slow wayward throw to the bowler, Zaman Khan was yards out on the second run. Phew!! Some really bizarre cricket going on here
16.5
Naseem Shah to Zaman Khan, no run, very full and outside off, Zaman has a poke at this and misses. Not wise batting really with a set batter at the other end. Oh, Gladiators have reviewed this. Was there an edge there? UltraEdge needed to confirm this. Flat line on UltraEdge

Naseem Shah to Haris Rauf, out Caught by Sarfaraz!! Edged and gone! Test match mode dismissal this. Naseem hits the pitch hard around the off stump, gets a hint of away movement and Rauf is completely squared up. Hangs his bat at this and gets a healthy nick through to Sarfaraz. Raza will be rueing the decision to run off that no ball now. Haris Rauf c Sarfaraz b Naseem Shah 0(2)

F
Naseem Shah to Raza, FOUR, gets to a fiery 22-ball fifty in style! His first in PSL and it's been a priceless knock under high pressure. Reaches the milestone with a flashy slice drive, intentionally hit over point and it races away. Naseem gave too much width there and the length was also quite full

W
Odean Smith to Rashid Khan, out Caught by Iftikhar Ahmed!! Gladiators finally break the partnership! They needed this because runs were coming at a freakish rate in the last few overs. Slower ball from Smith does the trick, Rashid is a tad early on the loft and he gets a lot more height than distance on the shot. The hang time on the ball allows Iftikhar to get across from long-on to his left. Completes a fairly regulation running catch. Handy knock from Rashid nevertheless, hung around and gave Raza solid support when Lahore were staring at embarrassment. Rashid Khan c Iftikhar Ahmed b Odean Smith 21(20) [4s-1 6s-1]
15.4
Odean Smith to Raza, 1 run, dropped by Guptill! Would have been a sensational catch had he held onto this and he actually did the hard part in timing the dive properly but just couldn't hold onto it. Rare sight to see Guptill putting catches down. A rare miscue from Raza today, wanted to go over extra cover and sliced this over point. Gets lucky in the end

4
Naseem Shah to Raza, FOUR, no stopping Raza! He is batting with unreal confidence and swagger. Picks the slower ball, delays the bat swing and goes straight back over the bowler's head. Clean loft and this nearly went all the way
14.4
4
Naseem Shah to Raza, FOUR, smart batting! Slower bouncer, Raza was shaping for the pull and then realised that it's the pace-off delivery, waits a fraction before executing the shot. Picks the gap between fine leg and deep square leg with precision
14.1
Naseem Shah to Rashid Khan, 1 run, back of a length outside off, a touch wide and Rashid steers it away through backward point with total control to bring up a priceless fifty partnership. The ball is coming onto the bat really nicely now. Lahore will regret their batting performance in the first 10 overs.

4
Naveen-ul-Haq to Raza, FOUR, Raza is on fire! This is an even better shot! Naveen-ul-Haq goes fuller once more, width offered and it's met with a thunderous drive through the covers. Hit on the rise and Raza holds the pose after the shot to add flavour to it. The Lahore crowd has found its voice in the last few overs, they realise that their team is staging a fightback of some sorts

4
Naveen-ul-Haq to Raza, FOUR, cracking shot! Already a proper blinder from Raza this given the match situation. Not all that full but there is width and he goes on the up over extra cover. Clears the infield with ease and the squarish sweeper fielder has no chance
13.1
4
Naveen-ul-Haq to Raza, FOUR, Raza continues to motor along! But this is bad bowling from Naveen-ul-Haq, offers pace and width with third man up in the ring. Raza is smart enough to take advantage of that, opens the bat and steers it through that gap between short third and backward point. Sarfaraz is livid because the field was set with four in the deep on the leg-side and then Naveen-ul-Haq does this
12.4
4
Umaid Asif to Rashid Khan, FOUR, runs bleeding now! The pitch has eased out considerably and both batters are enjoying themselves. Width offered again, on that hard length, Rashid makes a hint of room and thrashes it through the covers
12.3
6
Umaid Asif to Rashid Khan, SIX, just clears Smeed! The Englishman wasn't going to stand a chance of taking this properly though as the momentum was always taking him past the rope. Back of a length, width offered and Rashid slices it uppishly behind square on the off-side. Just about clears the fence
12.1
6
Umaid Asif to Raza, SIX, Raza has decided to have some fun now! Greets Umaid with the paddle scoop, premeditated and with fine leg up, the shot was always on. Connects so well that it goes all the way
11.3
6
Nawaz to Raza, SIX, crunched! That trademark Raza pull over deep square leg. Just a fraction short and he sinks low on the back foot to launch this away. Made a cracking sound off the bat
10.5
Naseem Shah to Rashid Khan, no run, seemed an optimistic review from the outset with Naseem probably getting carried away by the beauty that he had just bowled. Sarfaraz knew the truth too but he was just being kind to his bowler. Lovely delivery this, nips away just a shade from around off, Rashid was looking for the booming cover drive and it just whizzed past the outside edge. Gladiators review but it's a flat line on UltraEdge

Nawaz to Wiese, out Caught&Bowled!! The Qalandars are in a free-fall at the moment and there's no one arresting this massive slide. Was nicely tossed up on off and straightened a tad on the right-hander - Wiese jabbed forward on the check drive once again, went with hard hands and ended up lobbing a simple return catch to the bowler. Wiese c and b Nawaz 2(3)
9.2
Nawaz to Raza, 1 run, flighted delivery on middle, lapped away behind square on the on-side for a single

Hafeez to Shaheen Afridi, out Shaheen Afridi Run Out!! Has Shaheen run himself OUT? Went straight to short third man and he set-off for a quick single, the run was never there and was rightly sent back by his partner, put in the big dive, but it's in vain. He's short and he's OUT. Was the attempted reverse sweep and Shaheen wasn't in a great position on the shot, got to the fielder on the bounce and then the Qalandars captain decided there was a run there, simple lob from Naveen-ul-Haq and Sarfaraz does the rest. Shaheen Afridi run out (Naveen-ul-Haq) 16(16) [4s-2]

W
Nawaz to Shafique, out Bowled!! The Qalanadars have lost half their side now - Shafique has been bowled around his legs, was full and sliding down leg, Shafique shuffled right across on the sweep, exposed his leg-stump and was through with the shot, the ball caught the bottom of the glove and rolled back onto the stumps. Shafique will feel unlucky, but he has put his team in a bigger hole now. Shafique b Nawaz 15(14) [4s-1 6s-1]

4
Nawaz to Shaheen Afridi, FOUR, cracking shot, Shaheen is starting to look comfortable now - flighted delivery on off and he went down low on the sweep, placed it behind square on the on-side and beat the diving fielder's effort for a boundary
6.3
4
Odean Smith to Shaheen Afridi, FOUR, lovely shot, full and wide from Smith - Afridi leans across, throws his hands on the drive and laces it wide of extra-cover for a boundary
5.3
W
Naveen-ul-Haq to Talat, out Bowled!! That's a cracking delivery and the Qalandars have lost their fourth. The angle working in Naveen-ul-Haq's favour - came from round the wicket and got it to slant back into the left-hander with the angle, Talat was pushing forward, but the ball straightens enough to burst past the outside edge and crash into the top of off-stump. Talat b Naveen-ul-Haq 6(7) [4s-1]
5.1
4
Naveen-ul-Haq to Shafique, FOUR, nicely played, on a good length and at the stumps, Shafique presses forward and then thumps it over mid-on for a boundary
4.2
4
Umaid Asif to Talat, FOUR, nicely played, short of a good length and angling across the left-hander, Talat rides the bounce and then pinches it behind point, third man is square and has no chance
3.4
W
Naveen-ul-Haq to Billings, out Caught by Will Smeed!! Catching practice at deep backward square leg, the swivel pull causing another batter's downfall today, banged in short and Billings instinctively went for the pull, doesn't bother to keep it down and holes out to Smeed in the deep. An absolute sitter and he doesn't drop those. The Qalandars find themselves in some early trouble. Billings c Will Smeed b Naveen-ul-Haq 2(5)
2.3
W
Umaid Asif to Mirza Baig, out Caught&Bowled!! The Qalandars have lost both openers now, that extra bounce causing Baig's downfall, didn't help himself by staying on the front-foot on the pull - was the slower short ball and Baig miscued it badly, off the top-edge and lobbed right back at the bowler, who called for the catch and held on with ease. Mirza Baig c and b Umaid Asif 2(7)
1.4
6
Odean Smith to Shafique, SIX, cracking shot, tad too short from Smith, Shafique swivels across, uses the pace on the pull and helps it on its way with the pull, sent it soaring over deep square leg for a maximum
0.4
W
Naseem Shah to Fakhar Zaman, out Fakhar Zaman Run Out!! A direct hit at the bowler's end and the third umpire will have a look. Was Fakhar's call and he was running to the danger end, the fielder makes a direct hit at the bowler's end and finds Fakhar well short - OUT is the call. That's a big blow for the Qalandars, on a good length and just outside off, a punchy drive in front of the fielder and Fakhar thought there was a run on offer, but Asif is quick on the ball and his direct hit caught the batter well short. Fakhar Zaman run out (Umaid Asif) 4(3) [4s-1]

Naseem Shah to Fakhar Zaman, FOUR, nicely played, overpitched and wide of off, Fakhar leans across, drives it on the rise and then punches it into the gap wide of cover for a boundary
