Eighth successive defeat for England at WACA
Australia wrapped up the Ashes series with a resounding win in the third Test at the WACA by an innings and 41 runs. Josh Hazlewood led the way with five for 48. Only first innings centurion Dawid Malan put any semblance of resistance, scoring a patient 135-ball 54. England's lower-order capitulated yet again in the series, with the last five wickets skittled out for just 45 runs in 18 overs.
For the fourth time in last five Ashes contests Down Under, the series hasn't stretched to the fourth Test.

They lost all five Tests in 1920/21 and followed it up with defeats in the first three Tests of the 1924/25 series. This is also their seventh successive defeat in Tests away from home following the 0-4 defeat in India last winter.
