Towhid Hridoy: (Happy with the performance of his lads?) Alhamdulillah, so far we did well as a batting unit and bowling unit. The last two matches we dominated and we controlled the game. (On their comeback after losing the first T20I) When we lost the first match, then we had a meeting and we discussed the conditions and how we would go forward. Our boys really played well. As a bowling unit and batting unit, they really played well. (On Rishad Hossain) We know about Rishad, his ability. When he gets the opportunity, he shows his character, and he's dominated with the ball here. (On Tanzid) Yeah, he's a class batsman. We know his abilities, and whenever he gets in, he always tries to finish the game, and he shows that for the team.

Tanzid Hasan Tamim | Player of the Match and the Series: First of all, Alhamdulillah, we won the series. It's an amazing feeling. I think our bowlers did a really good job. (On his approach with the bat in this series) Yeah, I think not to play too much hard, just watch the ball and play the merit of the ball. That's the main thing. (On the feelings in the dressing room) Yeah, we're feeling amazing because we lost the last two series in the Tests and ODIs, so winning the last match is a really amazing feeling. I hope the boys are enjoying it also. (On being stranded at the non-striker's end in the final over) Yeah, no problem. I was trying to keep myself normal. I think if I end up not losing my wicket, then I can easily finish the match. That's what I believe in that particular situation.

Raza (2/2): (On taking on India in four days' time and the positives from this series) I thought some of the positives have been the few partnerships that we have got. But the main real positive has been our bowling lineup on these Bulawayo surfaces, how well we have bowled, especially the seamers. The spinners have contributed here and there, but ideally, in my opinion, the biggest contribution in this series has been from the seamers, and I think that's a big positive. (On becoming the most-capped cricketer for Zimbabwe across formats today) It was made more special by the little presentation that Zimbabwe Cricket and Hammy (Hamilton Masakadza) did. But it was made even more special that my son was here. He wasn't supposed to be here. He was with his school, and he asked me to pick him up. I didn't know that there was going to be a ceremony and things like that. To have my son with me here suddenly made it even more special.

Sikandar Raza (1/1): (On what was a par score on this surface and whether they were short?) I thought 155. We realized that this is a typical Bulawayo wicket that's going to get harder to bat on, and it did. I just think we were maybe 5 to 10 runs short as well. But having said that, I still think, had we fielded a little bit better - it has been our Achilles heel - I think we made a game out of it anyway. If you look at the dropped chances, the misfield, and all those things that we did on the park, they could have been needing 15 runs to win the game in the last over, but unfortunately not to be. (On the blips in the field) In the field, there were a lot of misfields. There were a lot of twos that shouldn't have been. We spoke about it. Some of the lack of awareness from the boundary riders suddenly cost us those runs as well. A lot of the twos were straight to fielders as well. So, all those things just contributed. I think our game awareness today in the field was quite poor. (On the last over) We backed Brad, and it would have been a great game had we won the game. But still, a good game of cricket as well, and credit to Bangladesh for winning the game. Having five fielders inside, it was always tough. But credit to Brad that he showed a lot of character and heart there as well. Unfortunately, when the margins are very small, a full toss, and you middle it, it's a four. These things matter. Again, like I said, the way we fielded - had we fielded a bit better, Brad wouldn't be defending five. He might have been defending 15 to 18.

Tanzid then found an able ally in Hridoy and the duo kept the scoreboard ticking and also scored the odd-boundary. Hridoy fell against the run of play but he had done his job. The 63-run partnership between them had put Bangladesh in the driver's seat. Yasir Ali fell in the penultimate over but the visitors had things well under control. They needed 5 off the last over - Evans took two in two to turn it into a nail-biting contest. Evans had probably trapped Mahedi in front and it would have been a hat-trick for him but much to Zimbabwe's dismay, the umpire had already called it a dead ball before Evans delivered the ball (a fielder moving in the outfield being the reason for the dead ball). Mahedi held his nerves and hit one over covers to send his side into a frenzy...

16:11 Local Time, 14:11 GMT, 19:41 IST: Evans threatened to win the game from the jaws of defeat for his side in the final over but Mahedi kept his cool to take his side over the line. Bangladesh made life difficult for themselves but they have managed to pull it off. Apart from Bennett and Myers' good contributions, no other Zimbabwean batter made it into double-figures. Myers' 73 helped the hosts to get to a fighting total but it was always going to be below-par even on a slightly variable surface. I reckon they were at least 15-20 runs short. In response, the duo of Ngarava and Muzarabani bowled brilliantly with the new ball and kept the Bangladeshi top-order on their toes. Tanzid and Emon hit a few boundaries in quick time after the powerplay and that eased the pressure on them. Emon couldn't capitalise on his start but the 55-run stand between the duo kept the visitors ahead in the game.

Oh, Evans had probably trapped Mahedi in front but the umpire calls it a dead ball. What drama! It was a low full-toss that shaped back in, Mahedi tried to hit it across but missed to get pinged on the pads. It looked adjacent to the naked eye. There was a fielder moving in the outfield and hence, the umpire had called it a dead ball just before Evans released it. Evans and the rest of the Zimbabwe players walk up towards the umpire. Raza has an animated discussion with the umpire. Tanzid and Evans have a heated exchange. Tempers flaring up
