Ratnakar Naik: Inexperience of Hardik Pandya at the highest level helping Bangladesh. In the absence of genuine third seamer, Kohli will have tough time in containing the Bangladesh batsmen. ---- No intentions of contradicting you. But just so we know, he bowled that fateful last over against Bangladesh during the World T20 in 2016.

Karan: I think people here are completely misjudging the author! It makes things easier for Bangladesh because DLS and shortened targets come into play. It increases their probability of winning. Nobody is questioning the skills sets of either of teams.--- Exactly

Harsha Bhogle: Bangladesh have been aggressive but at 46-2, the first power play has gone India's way.

Kunal Vaze: Don't think short game favour Bangladesh as you mentioned in the pre-match talk. You mentioned here moments control the game, not the skill set. I think it needs skills also with moment and we do have that T20 skill sets. Most of Indian ODI players used to play T20 and they have that mindset also. ---Favour and favourites are two different terms. So, a short game does not make Bangladesh the favourites, it just eases things for them - relatively. Also, we never said Indian players don't have T20 skill set.

Rajatrk: Should India have played Umesh Yadav in place of Pandya and relied on top 5 to get the runs? Considering that it is Bangladesh a quality pacer could have been a better option.--- I am sure a lot of thought would have gone into finalizing the XI for today's game. But often teams tend to avoid tinkering with the winning combination ahead of knockout games. Also, Pandya clocks 140s, if pace is what is the key against Bangladesh.

Noor: Moments control the game in longer version too. I remember how Fizz took three key wickets in a Test vs South Africa and just shifted the total momentum of the game in that single over. I think BD doesn't play that many Test matches and that's the reason behind poor performance in Tests. Agree, but don't you think Tests will give you enough time to recover from a three-wicket hit and rebuild. How often does that happen in a T20?!

Manohar Samuel: How does short game favour Bangladesh as you mentioned in the pre-match talk? ---- Longer games need more patience and are a test of skills. While in the shorter format, things change early and a couple of good overs can upset plans. Here moments control the game, not the skill set.
