PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Divya: Rashid Khan you Beauty - the feel in your eyes for your country at post-match presentation was so nice and touching.
SG: "Rayudu needs to get a ton+ runs in Finals(Quite Possible) at the same time KW needs to get a Duck(Impossible) for Orange cap."
Rambo: "Can David Warner replace Kane as captain next year or will he be added as a specialist batsman?" -- Oooh, that'll be a toughie, even for the SRH management
Harsha Bhogle: Fantastic campaign by KKR. Wasn't to be today but made the best of what they had. Can take much pride from the way they played.

Harsha Bhogle: Brilliant by SRH. Still the best at defending totals.

Harsha Bhogle: "I think Rashid Khan could discover a new planet in the solar system or a new element in the periodic table today."

Bilwasiva Basu Mallick: "Another game at Eden Gardens. Same old 19 to get. Can Shubman Gill do a Carlos here? A repetition of the immortal 4 sixers in T20 WC Final of 2016?" -- Yeah, rather poetic, isn't it?
Harsha Bhogle: There is something very endearing about two kids, till recently playing for India Under-19, trying to win a big IPL semi-final.

Suresh ‏(@Suresh48160652): "It's very sad to see the losing team always no matter which team your supporting." -- That's very mature
Dinesh: "How do you think SRH fare against CSK for the finals??" -- Let's not get ahead of ourselves. 11 balls left - that's a long time.
Shyam Mohan: "Uthappa, Lynn & Russell. Three key wickets. This is Rashid Khan's night."
Harsha Bhogle: I think, this year, Rashid Khan has joined Lasith Malinga and Sunil Narine in the pantheon of IPL bowlers.

Hemil: "First batting, then fielding, and now bowling. Is there anything that Rashid Khan can't do? Amazing!" - Couldn't have put it better myself. I'm in awe.
Harsha Bhogle: Once again, SRH bowlers making their own score look bigger than it actually is. This is brilliant defence of a score.

Abhishek: Sunil Narine is the biggest asset a team could have in shorter formats. He gives you tight 4 overs and more importantly gives that firing start at the top of the innings which helps in reducing the pressure on middle order.
Harsha Bhogle: SRH hit 7 sixes in 20 overs, most of them at the end. KKR have already hit 5

@ForeverCoolRish: Great decision by KKR to promote Rana. Left-Right combination continues, better player of pace bowling and keeps experience of Uthappa for Rashid. #CBhaveyoursay
@Ajay_Ns: KKR doing exactly what they should. Bringing the run rate down before SRH unleash their spinners. #CBhaveyoursay
wajid: Narine outdoing Rashid here
Karthik: Of all the world class batsmen out there, it was Rashid Khan (seriously out of nowhere) giving the perfect tribute to AB!
Harsha Bhogle: This could well be a game-changing innings from Rashid Khan.
Harsha Bhogle: This could well be a game-changing innings from Rashid Khan.
Bharat: "Just wondering if this is the first match this season (or across all seasons) in which a team has gone with less than four overseas players? Or have there been such instances in the past?" -- Nope, it's happened in the past. In fact, Delhi did the same in one of their league games.
Ramu Kaka: "@Cricbuzz, sure 150 might be defendable, but can SRH "GET" to 150?" -- Umm
Viresh ‏(@Viresh69041030): "I think SRH have an affinity for low-scoring matches."
Rahul: "Karthik has forgotten the Brathwaite show in his last match. Not saved a spinner." -- Too late. He found a different way of getting himself out.
Anonymous: "@Cricbuzz, what do you think is a good par total for the SRH to defend? I'm not talking w.r.t pitch conditions, but with the bowling arsenal of SRH?" -- Based on the initial league stages, one would say 150 is defendable. But given that this team peaked too early and have lost 4 on the trot, it's hard to say.
Mahesh: "Ben Stokes had a worst IPL, but he is doing good with the ball against Pakistan. Is this an indicator that IPL can't be looked at as an indicator when selecting for national side?" -- Certainly can't be looked at as an indicator for red-ball cricket.
Yash Garg (@YashGar67414318): "Wonder what would happen if Billy stanlake was not injured and still in SRH! His pace and bounce could have done wonders in Wankhede and Eden!"
Prasanth: "Saha has got an inside edge. So isn't it run out rather than stumping?" -- Technically a run-out, but the bowler has deceived the batsman in a way, so it's a bit subjective. We'll keep you updated on this.
Pruthvi: "Can someone Confirm this! How many Reviews? 1 per innings or 1 per match?" -- One per innings
shubham pandey: "I don't know how but whenever I open Cricbuzz for update wicket falls." -- I publish this comment, praying that you're nowhere near Hyderabad right now.
Saswata: "I wonder why do SRH and KKR compete for orange and purple caps respectively! Don't they already have it?" -- touche
Yaz: "IPL is sometimes very funny: CSK who everyone wrote off now are waiting, while SRH who won everything until recently are struggling to find their best eleven now..."
Sachin Potalwad (@PotalwadSachin): "While this IPL has been glorious for wicket keepers. I think Saha has been liability rather than asset for SRH" -- Commerce student, are ya?
Manoj Kurma ‏(@manojkurma): "Wickets in hand is key for SRH. Yusuf will fire at the end." -- He certainly is due a big one.
Sandeep: Saha is a big match player. Still remember the knock he played against KKR for KXIP in 2014 final. So good move by SRH to give him the freedom to go out there in the middle and play freely.
Harsha Bhogle: Also, big call by KKR to play only three overseas players. What a big day for Shivam Mavi to be picked ahead of international players.

Manoj: I think KKR should have taken Cameron Delport instead of Nitish Rana. They had the option of another foreign player.
Harsha Bhogle: Big call to leave out Manish Pandey. Or indeed to make three changes. Maybe SRH thought our first eleven lost us 4 in a row, let's get someone else.

Sunil: "Surprise, Surprise, Surprise !!!! KKR opted to play with three foreign players, probably a good move by KKR but SRH ?? Is it good to make 3 changes at this stage? -- Let's wait and watch.
Aniket: SRH have Goswami, Manish, Shakib and Yusuf who know Eden pretty well. They might have the upper hand even if Eden is KKR's home ground.
Raj: Considering the fact that SRH bowlers couldn't defend targets successfully in the past few matches, today's toss is going to play important role, irrespective of the pitch condition. The chasing team will have a psychological advantage.
