PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Harsha Bhogle: That is a second poor match for New Zealand. They are going downhill rapidly but the early results will still see them through on net run rate should Pakistan get to 11 points. It is still England or Pakistan as the fourth qualifier

Lakshay: I think New Zealand should look took play full 50 overs, even if they lose their run-rate won't be affected, which might give them an advantage in the later stage.
Jigar Gogri: Mitchell Starc you beauty! Whenever Finch turns to him for a wicket he delivers it instantly. Leading wicket-taker of the tournament so far for a reason.
Dhruv: Finch uses Starc for 3 overs at the start, twice for 2 overs in different spells in middle overs and rest at the end. While the other captains use their strike bowler in the conventional way of 3 spells. Maybe this way Finch maximizes the impact of Starc in the middle overs.
Karan Mishra: I think Australia are favourites to lift the world cup. Not once so far have they failed to make a challenging total while batting 1st and got so close chasing in their only loss against India. Plus Behrendorff has made the bowling attack even more potent.
Rohith Reddy: Kohli wants a wicket - brings Bumrah ... Finch wants a wicket - brings Starc
Jigar Gogri: Important innings this for Latham to get back his form & confidence ahead of the important clashes!
Sohail: Finch has been able to manage his fifth bowler very well. This has allowed him to utilize Starc to his full potential.
Bhavesh Garg: Root,Smith and Willamson all have bowled in this world cup. Expecting Virat to do soon.
Akhil: @arjun , double-headers are getting interesting just like the previous one -- IND v AFG and NZ v WI
Arjun: Hoping this will be a thrilling contest, just like the other game (AFG vs PAK) of the day.
Abhilash B: No wonder why there are five times champions in world cup history. These Australian sides knows how to tackle pressure. Aussies don't sink with the pressure, rather they'll float on it.
Ram: Carey used to be the opener for his domestic side. No doubt playing very well against pacers.
Ram: Carey is the most underrated player of this Australian side. Plays his part whenever his side needs him to. It reminds me of Michael Bevan.
Mahesh: Looks like Carey will be joining the club of Bevan and Dhoni soon :)
Rishi: How good has Ferguson been in this World Cup for NZ? Maintained good line and lengths and those fiery short balls @147kph. If only INDvsNZ wasn't washed out. 'Would have been a cracker'
Santosh Kale: Looks like Alex Carey after this series will continue in all formats as a wicket-keeper. Look at his batting and keeping, good to see someone after Gilchrist in Australian side. 'Looks good for the white-ball format, but Tim Paine is firmly entrenched as the Test captain'
Nayeem: A score of 250 should be a good score for Aussies considering NZ have not put good performances in their middle order except KW. "Forgot Neesham and CdG? Latham though has struggled'
Manish Pareek: "Why Maxwell is sent ahead of Carey in this kind of situations? Carey has that composure to bat long?" - Maxwell certainly has the experience to back him.
Harsha Bhogle: By their very high standards, the Kiwis were a bit iffy in the field to start with. But that is two stunning catches now!

Sanjeet: "Someone from Australia has to do NCN at a later stage of this match. I am wondering who might do that..."
Vaibhav Bedre: "@Cricbuzz, Don't forget this is not the first time Australian top order failed. They failed against WI also." - Yep, we know they seldom go down without a fight.
Omkar Nawathe: "Ferguson is to Williamson what Bumrah is to Kohli."
Harsha Bhogle: When a good fielder drops a catch, he doesn't want to avoid the next one, he desperately wants another to come his way. Guptill dropped two and picked up a stunner. He would have been praying for it.

Vikash Modi: "Gooood start from NZ. Exactly what they needed. Two highest run-scorers of the tournament are back into the pavilion."
Kjain: "Guptill drops one!!! NZ starts with some hiccups" - It was hardly a chance. Really tough.
Harsha Bhogle: Beautiful day at Lord's. It is a picture. And, hopefully, a good game. Interesting to see NZ play two spinners on a used pitch. So far though teams batting first have held the advantage.
