Bala Ramana: This is a strange match for India as wickets are tumbling at one end but still they are still under some pressure.
Shankar: Just realised that Jadhav and Vijay have together bowled 9 overs for just 44 runs and picked up 1 wicket between them. Not bad at all for the fifth bowler quota.
ST: @Yogyansh--Just like Rohit wanted to test his batsmen, KW might want to test his other bowlers!!
Harsha Bhogle: Fine innings from Rayudu. Nice to see he played for the team total at the end rather than knock the ball around for a century. That has to be another batting slot ticked for the World Cup.

Yagyansh: Disappointed with KW's captaincy. With India's troubles against left arm pacers because of the angle and Boult bowling Absolute Jaffas at 140+, I am dead sure NZ could have knocked over India under 100 again if Boult had bowled more overs upfront. I hope Rohit learns from KW.
BaddamSrinath: Williamson's captaincy today has been conspicuously conservative. Baz would have bowled all his strike bowlers overs by now if necessary, even Williamson has been quite adventurous previously like in WT20 2016 and UAE 2018, not sure what's holding him back today
Himanshu Gupta: It was clear that Shankar was able to handle pressure a lot better than Rayudu in that partnership. Rayudu has to get a big one to atone for Shankar's run out.
Harsha Bhogle: A very good little innings by Vijay Shankar. Looked the best Indian batsman today.

SrinathReddy: Shankar playing more like a well-accomplished batsman...getting rid of the Nidahas ghosts!
Sumit: "Let's say if Vijay Shankar and Rayudu can bat together till 40th over, with Jadhav and Pandya to follow - what can be defendable total on this pitch? 250?" --- That looks a distant dream at this stage but I reckon anything between 150-200 could be quite decent.
Mufaddal: I don't think New Zealand is doing any favor on themselves by providing such swinging conditions which is quite unlike to the one they will get at the World Cup
Harsha Bhogle: Williamson said he would have bowled first. I have no doubt that if the series was open, Rohit would have bowled first too. He said he wanted to test the team in such situations. It is a fair call if that was the objective but it is throwing up some uncomfortable truths.

Ayush bharti: Again india looking in trouble but this time india have dhoni, let's see what he can do from here. Excellent from NZ pacers..
pradp: DK should have been picked over Rayudu
Akshay Anand: Why only DK always sacrifices his place ? If team is looking for WC, Gill is not in scheme of things, but DK is -- You never know
abhinav: Happy to see India winning the toss and choosing to bat. An opportunity for all the batsmen to correct the previous match aberration
