PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Minank Naik: Afghanistan have to understand that with spin heavy attack they will not progress as a team in the long run because teams will figure out how to nullify them.. They have some good young fast bowlers in the setup, just need to give them consistent long run and have a balanced attack for all conditions..
somu: WI Should have promoted Pooran to no.3 as he is in amazing touch in the past few months.
Aryan Joshi: @Jay probably his recent form and captaincy in the domestic t20 tournaments like the the CPL and the IPL has brought about the change. However, Jason did no wrong during this tenure of captaincy
Jay: Well, I'm not commenting on his captaincy. But can't understand why Pollard has been named in WI squad out of nowhere, that too as a captain. He has never been consistent in any format of the game for WI.
somu: WI have made a mess of a decent start.
Rajat H Jain: "Two swashbuckling players at the crease now."
Pushkar: AFG have chance to win if they restrict WI to less than 230-240
Gyanesh: Let's see who will complete his 50 first.
MK Hameed: Today the key to winning for Afghanistan is their opening, If openers deliver than Rahmat and Ikram can handle the situation
Ashwin: Good to see this approach from WI. The only way to counter such high quality spin is by putting pressure on them. And wickets in hand would do just that
Pushkar: You can't win ODIs just because of good spinners, you need good pace bowling & good batting too...!! Applicable to Afghanistan
Navneet IOCL: It seems a match between best T20 batting line up vs top T20 spinner line up
Naga: Good start for Windies, both openers are looking positive. A big score probably on the cards looking at the way these two batsmen have played so far..
