Delhi Capitals
110/9(20)
Mumbai Indians
111/1(14.2)
PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Kunal Seemar: Ishan Kishan has made sure that Mumbai will not miss Rohit Sharma even once. A youngster filling the shoes of a living legend.
Harshil: You think of MI. You look at the big names - Rohit, Malinga, Pandya. It looks a Champion side. Then the big names suddenly disappear and you look at MI again and they still look like a champion side. That's how you become a champion side
Sashank: Delhi Capitals is in similar situation of what KXIP were in 2018. Still finding that one win to make it to the Playoffs
raghav: Mumbai Indians are looking like the current Bayern Munich team with every player performing and playing exceptionally well.
Abhishek Mittal: With the level of game that Mumbai is displaying, the only thing that can stop them from winning the trophy is the even-ness of the year.
Samarth Chawla: Can Delhi get eliminated after they lose this game and the game against RCB? -- They can but need other results to go their way
Navneet: Delhi's loss will be advantage for 6 other teams!
Yatish Sharma: Besides losing 2 points, DC is badly stabbing its NRR. I fear the chances of the team that stayed at the top for so long, getting knocked out at this stage !!!!
Ameen: DC should reverse the roles of Pant and Hetmyer. Hetmyer is usually a top order batsman and he can rebuild the innings if they lose some early wickets. Giving Pant the role of a re-builder is just putting pressure on him.
Parth: One reason why DC are not playing well is because they are not approaching it like a do-or-die game. Just see the results SRH and RR have achieved in their previous matches. DC really need to seek motivation from them.
Ravindra: Guess DC missed Amit Mishra in the last 2 games. He would have been helpful in the last 2 games with his variations and experience to contain batsmen in the middle overs.
Manikanta: Hmm... As expected, DC's opening stand continues to collapse for single digit scores. Their opening stand has been inconsistent from last 6-7 matches. And it continues to worry them.
Ramesh Singh: @Priyanshu Poddar: Axar was very economical against MI in their last encounter. I still think, Axar would have been better choice.
Priyanshu Poddar: So DC has left out the decently well performing Axar Patel for Praveen Dubey. This can be a really smart move considering how the RR leggies fared against MI whereas Ashwin can be used at the top which mainly constitutes of left-handers.
Vedant: This is the right time for MI to experiment. Saurabh Tiwary hasn't looked good and Pattison has leaked a lot of runs so they might consider bringing in Lynn and Dhawal Kulkarni instead and send Ishan Kishan back to number four.
